The African continent covers 30million km² and straddles the sub-tropical belts from the Mediterranean (37°N) to the Cape of good hope (35°S). It’s enormous size and variations in relief gives a wide variety of climate, soils and agricultural systems.
At Afrotaste, we take advantage of the good African climate and soils to produce, process and export a wide range of fresh herbs and avocado to different destinations of the world.
Our herbs catalogue include basil, chives, tarragon, rosemary, thyme, mint among others. We also specialize in growing of Hass avocados with a target of 1,600 hectares by 2025, equivalent to 4.2m fruits annually.
Our farm is strategically located just 10kms from Jomo Kenyatta International airport towards the East of the Kenyan capital city Nairobi, making it ideal to achieve the right temperatures required on a wide range of our products.
